Yard First Aid Kit Challenge

Build and budget a horse first aid kit, learn the normal numbers and write an emergency plan.

Calm heads and the right kit. Your child will learn what belongs in a horse first aid kit and why, the normal temperature, pulse and breathing figures, when it is watch-and-wait and when it is ring the vet immediately. They will source and cost a kit, practise bandaging a rolled towel, and write an emergency contact card and yard plan.
